History

Founded in 1984 in East Clark County, Continental Loan & Jewelry had one goal in mind, to stand apart from the other Vancouver pawn shops both in location and ideology.  With an eye on the future, Al Fox opened on the east side of town in the Orchards area, away from the then failing down town Vancouver business district.  His goal was simple, open a pawnshop that broke away from the stereotypes; a clean, friendly, family atmosphere where people could come to shop and borrow money.

As a member of the National Pawnbroker’s Association and the Washington State Pawnbroker’s Association with nearly 30 years in business at our modern state of the art facility, we are prepared to help meet your day to day cash needs, loaning money on almost anything of value.  All loans in Washington State have a 90 day term with very affordable interest rates.  We also offer incredible savings on our meticulously cleaned inventory for your shopping convenience!  We even guarantee all items we sell to work and will do our best to accommodate you if any item you buy from us doesn’t function properly when you get it home.
